Business Intelligence Developer/Data Analyst
Required:
• Bachelors in IT or other IT concentration, BSCS, or related degree required (business related coursework highly desired)
• 6+ yrs. experience working with SQL-based RDBMS. NoSQL experience a plus (Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc…)
• Experience with ETL, data cleansing, data integrity, data normalization
• Experience developing with leading BI tools - Qlik, Tableau, Cognos, or Pentaho
• Client-facing communication skills • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance Desired
• Experience developing in QlikView or QlikSense highly desired
• Experience with other programming or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Java, Perl)
Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate for this position will have solid data management, analysis, and related development skills. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to quickly understand our customers’ business requirements and processes in order to most effectively adapt our platform to support their needs. The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with our big data Solution Architect in order to successfully build-out our new analytics based product platform for our federal customers. This is a newly created position, which will offer a broad scope of responsibilities and require a great deal of flexibility as the development project migrates from an alpha-state implementation to a commercial/production status.
